Saturday, July 26th

I see what you see in the photos. I added many from around the yard tonight to get a feel for all the activity and life going on around here
I hear: the constant scolding of the adult house wrens because I am too close to their nest
I feel: mosquitoes taking big bites out of me and wet vegetation because we just had a big rainfall about 1 hour ago.

Two Pileated Woodpeckers (look closely for the red head hanging around a log)
 a rose bush in bloom
pickled summer squash canned today from the garden
house wren nesting in a box hanging on the garden fence
 west view
 south view
jewel weed ias I am turning my body to take the north view
 north view
some more of the wren and her nest box

 east view
 tomatoes starting to grow
 red cabbage
 beets
 pole beans
 baby pumpkin
more of the rose bush
