Saturday, June 21st - Happy Summer Solstice Day!!

I see: what you see in these photos and fecal stains coming from the nesting wren
I smell: the earth
I feel: a mosquito biting me at the tip of my nose
I hear: bees buzzing all around me and the quiet calls of birds
We had  a lot of rain this week and it has been hot and humid so the plants had a good growth week. The water has been standing in places we have heard the frogs singing at night again.
 west view
south view, the grass stands taller than me, and I am 5' 6" tall
 north view
east view, as a general rule, we are NOT big weeders, we will get involved if the weeds start competing with the plants..so you will see weeds
we have a side garden in which we planted the pumpkins because we have found out that they are monsters and will take over the other garden
this close up is of the brushed dog hair that we place around the fenced garden, to help keep the deer out
 broccoli
 tomatoes
 pole beans
lettuce, in 2 weeks we will be eating
cucumbers
