Saturday, June 14th

I see: what is in these photos and a house wren fly from the nest box as I was approaching my photo spot
I hear: quiet vocalizations of birds settling down for the evening and the wind blowing
I feel: surprisingly no mosquitoes because of the wind
I smell: nothing really stands out
There is a big rain storm predicted to start around midnight tonight, so it feels and sounds  like the calm before the storm...actually before I have finished this post the rain has started.
west view - the grass is now over my head in all directions
 south view
 north view
east view, the garden has been mulched since the last post
the garden nest box that the house wren is using
the two week old bush beans are looking good
tomatoes and peppers - the garden isn't moving as quickly this week because the water has been from the hoses EOD verses the good ground soaking that occurs with the rain so we are glad for the rain tonight.
